The closest thing to the area is a dollar tree for necessities if you forget anything such as toothbrushes or toothpaste or shampoo. Not too far away on Maynardville Highway. There is a Food Lion, a Dominos, a McDonald’s, a Taco Bell, a Walgreens, and other necessities about 7 to 9 minutes. Other restaurants and bars in the area are approximately 15 to 22 minutes away.

  • Nashville is 3.5 hours from the house. You could stay a night or two there and here break up your trip. 
  • Chattanooga is 2.5 hours.
  • Gatlinburg/(The sinks-to swim)/ river rafting is 1.5 hours.
  • Asheville, N.C/Biltmore is 2.5 hours.
  • Lost sea adventure 1.5 hours.
